MALIBU CUSTOM CARTS

About Us

Mission
It is our mission to be the first and only choice for all the golf cart needs of our local Malibu community.

History
What started off (launched at the Chili cook-off labor day weekend 2011) as not much more than a hobby to fill in time when not at work in the film industry, has rapidly grown beyond any initial expectations and we now proudly have many of our friends and neighbors as customers.

One of our strengths is being local, not only is Malibu where we live, but also where our business is based.
Finding a suitable location for a shop, showroom and office in Malibu, while not having unlimited funds, has proven to be quite a challenge and we have been forced to compromise.
We now have a shop that is not our garage, but for a showroom we are still having to use space at the local gas stations, realtors and gated communities but unfortunately the access to these locations is a little limited, is time-consuming moving carts to and from and doesn't afford the widest possible audiences, and as for an office, well that's still at home!.
So if anyone out there knows of somewhere reasonable that might be a good fit, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Golf cart servicing and repair has proven to be a major part of our activities, but we love to customize too and are expecting that our superb range of Malibu lifestyle accessories such as surf racks, beach carts and SUP caddies will be a big hit for the beach this summer.

Don't forget, if you're looking to "Pimp Your Cart", please talk to us first to see what we can do for you.

Community Support
In our short history, we have already been approached many times to sponsor local charities and events, although we'd very much like to support every worthy local cause, we just don't have the funds to do so.
We do take a very close look at every request and try to work with the organizers to do what we can to help.

Golf Carts in the Community

We are strong proponents of responsible golf cart ownership, this includes ensuring that when driven on the public roads, the rules of the road are applied.
This may become less of an option in the future as our local law enforcement may clamp down on the requirement for golf carts to be 'street legal and plated' to be driven on the public roads.
We are closely monitoring this situation and will keep all of our customers informed of any information that comes our way.
Please don't hesitate to contact us for more details about what 'street legal and plated' means for your golf cart.
